I read a story about Joseph and Portiphar's wife. Portiphar's wife was trying to have sex with Joseph. The reasons why Joseph did not have an affair with Potiphar’s wife was because he did not want to abuse his Master’s trust, he believed in the sanctity of marriage, and it went against his ethical, moral and religious principles taught by his father Israel. Joseph would have been immediately executed by the sexual assault charge against him by Potiphar’s wife. Arbarbanel explains that she had accused other servants of the same crime in the past. Potiphar believed that Joseph was incapable of such an act and petitioned Pharaoh to spare his life. However, punishment could not have been avoided because of her class status and limited public knowledge when she screamed.

I read about how they compare the brightness of the stars. Astronomers compare the brightness of the variable to the brightness of a star that is near one another. The stars are to be chosen at random and it might be some type of variable star. To make sure the comparison star is constant,the brightness of the star is compare to another star called the check star because it is used to check for variations of the comparison star.

1. April 12,1861 The American Civil War began General P.G.T. Beauregard started it in South Carolina's Charleston Bay. Then two days later President Lincoln issued proclamation to have 75,000 soliders to fight.
2. Justin Bieber wanted to explore the city that Jesus walked on but the paparazzi had no respect for that.
3. A main reason why people have family problems are because there is someone that has an alcohol problems in the house.
4. Sexual abuse is a big problem for little kids around the ages 8-18 years old most of them die and some die and unidentified.
5. Dog fighting is a problem because some guys like to make easy money but thats more of a crime than killing somebody.
6. Weed/drugs because most people say its a way to calm their nerves but some doctors let them have it really.
7. High school drop outs are coming a big problem too some kids just feel like education are not important but college life the government are not giving us enough money to make it through school or enough pell grant.
8. The are so many wrecks happening when teens are TEXTING and driving that need to stop like ASAP.
9. Gas prices are getting ridiculous and whoever is in charge need to do something about that too and it suppose to be five dollars around the summer.
10. Gang violence are expanding on the west there is alot of killing, stealing, and social problems.
11. I read six year old boy brung a gun to school and shot it....this kind of need to stop i dont blame the child i blame the parents and/or the people that take responsible for his actions.

3. Obsessed women are crazy getting locked for stocking a man (Rio Ferdinand)!!! (laugh my butt off)
4. The worst storm we had in two decades. We had sixty-two tornadoes hit North Carolina and almost forty-five people died in our cpuntry.
5. A sixteen year old black male was accused of shooting two british men....I don't know how true it is they didn't give the full story of what just said where they found the bodies at.
6. Teen pregnancy are the most to happen at the ages 15-17 and mostly are African Americans and they are the most fertile.

1. I read a book called Bud Not Buddy for these past couple of days. Its about a little black boy thats in foster home and doesnt like where he is.
2. Bud, the little black boy, decided that he don't want to stay there anymore so he ran away to find his parents.
3. Bud always carried a a suite case with news paper that his mom always got mad about when she saw the dude on the picture so Bud thought it meant something and i think its his father.
4. I believe that his mother was dead so he went to find his father.
5. On his list trip to find his dad he met this girl that he liked that stayed by the tracks where everyone sneaks to get on the train to get to anther town.
6. He started liking the girl that he met and his friend that went with him dared him to kiss her because he knew Bud liked him.
7. When everybody fell asleep the trained came so everybody jumped up to catch the train. Bud friend got on but not Bud he was almost there until he started loosing his stuff it meant alot to him so he decided to stop and get it so he got left behind.
8. Bud started walking when he did he was jumping into the ditch when he saw a car coming
9. Bud got caught when he jumped into the ditch the black guy that was driving these white people car told Bud he had a sandwich and a red pop. Bud wanted that so he came out and gave his information.
10. The guy took Bud where he wanted to go which was where his father was at some club.
11. The man was gone take Bud inside but Bud knew that the man that he claim his father didn't know that Bud was coming or even know that Bud exsit.
12. So when Bud got the man to leave Bud walked in and introduce himself and told him what he wanted. Everybody that was there looked at Bud crazy and the guy that he told was his father got mad for some reason.
13. After all that happen they decided to take Bud out for something to eat and so that the man that he claim his father can calm down.

1. I read a book called diary of ann frank it was bout a lil gurl who was hidein from the nazis during the holocaust.
2. Hitler was a ruler who only accepted people with blonde hair and blue eyes which he didnt have neither.
3. He made the jews life miserable he put them through concentration camps.
4. He labeled them by name tags instead of their real names because he thought they was worthless.
5. If the jews was to weak to work he killed them because he needed workers.
6. Ann frank managed to hide in her parents basement from the nazis.
7. And every day she wrote in her dairy about wat was happenin and how the jews was treated.
8. If ann frank didnt write the diary we wouldnt know wat the jews went through and the hard times.
9. She was one of the few jews that survived this tragic time.

1. I read a book called Staying Pure, its about a teenage girl and how everything seem like it was going wrong for her.
2. She was an A student that and grduated as an honor student.
3. She always getting into it with her boyfriend about stuff basically he wasn't no good.
4. He cheated on her with a girl that go to school with them an when he slept with her he end up catching a disease
from that chick.....TRAGICC
5. He screwed over because his real girlfriend was about to give him some but now she done with him she still in love with him but dont want him.
6. OMG....i skipped all the good parts and everything....but umm she end meeting somebody else when she went to go visit a college that she will be attending to.
7. But anyways she started falling for the guy but still talking to her cheating boyfriend.
8. Anyways the new boy wanted to really get to know her and he was getting mad that girl was still talking to her ex so he told her he'll give her some space to think.
9. So when he gave her time to think she decided that she was gone give the new guy a chance since the old guy did screw up bad even though th was togetha for about three years.
10. Anotha book i read was about a lady and a man was married but she hasnt been happy in the past four months.
11. The deal with that her husband went to another city cheating his wife and she found out asked him about and he lied.

1. A book i was reading was talking about Roy’s experiences reveal a great deal about him: he’s a somewhat lonely boy, because his family is always moving; he is creative, intelligent, and curious in his imagining the running boy’s story; he’s impatient with dealing with such kids as Dana Matherson, but he’s also realistic enough to know that he can’t beat his size; and he longs for the state he just left, Montana, where he was his happiest.
2. The incident with Office Delinko is foreshadowing in that it prepares us for the people who are trying to save the owls who live in burrows on the site of yet another pancake house.
Chapter 2
3. This chapter helps to flesh out Roy’s character even more. The reader must wonder what makes Roy so determined to find the running boy. He is unusual for his age, seeking the answers to questions that other teens would never have sought. He even takes on a bully like Dana in his search for the answers. He is sensitive as well as he remembers the time he spent in Montana.
4. With the principal, he is humorous and witty in his observations about what he had done to Dana, acting more mature than one would expect from a boy his age. Even when confronted by the blonde girl in the cafeteria, it isn’t her threatening attitude that Roy cares about. It’s whether or not she can answer his questions about the running boy. All of this tells the reader that Roy is someone worth knowing, a character who will present more surprises as the plot unfolds.
Chapter 3
5. The uncompassionate character of Curly who only wants an officer on his site immediately and the political interference of the owners of Mother Paula’s set them up as the villains of the story. They only care about the money they’re making and they foreshadow a coming battle over the owls.
6. However, the attacks on the construction site are not without humor when the reader realizes that they put alligators in the Travelin’ Johnnys.
Roy’s room decorations and his witty letter of apology reveal again a smart, immensely interesting young man. Whatever he finds himself in as the plot unfolds will be just as interesting as he is.
7. He is also a kind of mirror image to Delinko who also wants to solve a mystery. It makes the reader feels as if a meeting between Roy and Delinko is inevitable.
Chapter 4
8. Once again, the reader sees that Roy is not a typical teen. He has the maturity to settle his differences with both Beatrice and Dana. He has the “right stuff” that Officer Delinko so much wants, but has been unable to achieve.
9. However, in spite of the damage to the squad car that Delinko allowed to happen, he shows he’s a compassionate man in the way he treats the owls. This foreshadows that he will be perhaps be on the side of the birds when their habitat is threatened.
Chapter 5
10. Two ideas of importance stand out in this chapter: one, Roy is unjustly punished while his attacker is not so that the school can avoid a lawsuit; two, Roy makes contact with a boy he finds too interesting to ignore.
11. In the process, he discovers a world that is much more interesting than anything he’s experienced yet. The reader senses that Roy will not give up until he finds out the truth behind the running boy. Life has become exciting at last.
Chapter 6
12. This chapter serves to advance the plot and Roy’s obsession with the running boy. We see that his instincts about Beatrice and her bus stop are correct and that she does know something about Mullet Fingers.
13. We also are able to add more to our understanding of Roy. He is a proud young man who has had to face many new situations. His maturity won’t allow him to give in to the bullies and he knows he has eventually face Dana.
Chapter 7
14. Once again the reader can see how Delinko is being paralleled to Roy - both are detectives with a sincere desire to learn the truth. However, Delinko does have ulterior motives that Roy does not have. Also, Roy is actually more intelligent than Delinko even though he is the child to Delinko being an adult.
Chapter 8
15. The lifting of the bus suspension foreshadows another showdown for Roy with Dana. However, he is a realist and faces it with a resigned attitude. he doesn’t want to spend the whole school year running and hiding from the bully.
16. The telephone conversation between Curly and the company vice-president is amusing given that the guy who is laying down the law is named Chuck Muckle, and the chastised employee is named Curly and he’s as bald as a cue ball! Also, the names of the Rottweilers are equally as amusing - a vicious attack dog named Pookie Face is a bit unusual! The irony is that the attack dogs will prove to be less than effective.
17. The ospreys are symbolic of Roy himself - like them, he can find a way to thrive in an environment that is far away and different from his beloved Montana.
18. It is ironic that Roy is saved once more from Dana’s wrath, this time by someone he had also feared(Beatrice).
Chapter 9
19. Roy’s review of his options in dealing with Dana shows mature and intelligent introspection. He understands his weaknesses and strengths and his concern for being an only child on his parents is admirable.
20. Then, when he finally is another brawl with Dana, he fights as well as he can against the bigger boy and that makes him admirable as well. He’s a character the reader can’t help but cheer on.
Chapter 10
21. This chapter is the one that creates a bond between the running boy, Beatrice, and Roy. They all help each other in some way or another and it’s obvious that they will soon be working together to save the owls.
Chapter 11
22. Delinko smiles when he sees the owls. He is not at all turned off by them and this will be important at the end of the book. He also now has the bike Beatrice had stolen and a piece of Mullet Fingers’ short.
Chapter 12
23. It’s obvious from this chapter that Roy is now committed even more to protecting Mullet Fingers.
Chapter 13
24. When the Eberhardts arrive home, Roy knows he has to face the “den.” This is a code word for Roy’s father sitting down with him whenever there’s some serious explaining to be done. When he enters the den, he is carrying a book his parents had gotten him for Christmas: The Sibley Guide to Birds.
25. Roy explains that he’s reading about the Burrowing Owl, and then he tells his father everything except about the snakes. He insists that Mullet Fingers is not a bad kid at all. He’s just trying to save the owls.
Chapter 14
26. This chapter is a revelation of Roy as a mediator. He shows his talent for talking and helping even for those who refuse his help. He may not like Dana Matherson, but he’s willing to negotiate a truce with him.
Chapter 15
27. Roy decides that the mission to Mother Paula’s is just too risky: someone or something will be waiting. He also has fears about trying something that is illegal. This is a problem for him, because he feels that just because something is legal doesn’t make it right. He feels like he needs to come up with a plan to protect Mullet Fingers.
Chapter 16
28. This chapter continues to reinforce Roy’s progress in becoming a man of integrity. He recognizes the beauty of the natural world and the value of his parents. He also takes on the responsibility to protect the owls.
Chapter 17
29. The chapter opens with another telephone conversation between Curly and Chuck Muckle. The capture of Dana bodes well for Curly, but it is neutralized by the loss of the bulldozer seats. Muckle tells him he has to lock down the site for just another forty-eight hours and that if anyone asks, the owl burrows are deserted.
30. Roy is committed to helping not only Mullet Fingers, but also the owls.
Chapter 18
31. Curly reports to Officer Delinko about his encounter with Roy, but tells him not to write it up. Delinko doesn’t tell Curly about Dana’s reaction to the rubber alligator, and Curly doesn’t tell Delinko about the bulldozer seats being stolen while Dana was in custody. They both carry secrets, but they are also both glad not to be alone on the construction site.
32. Roy’s plan progresses. He tries to get Mullet Fingers to follow through, but has no luck in convincing him. He avoids the principal’s interference, and he tells his class about the plight of the owls.
Chapter 19
33. This chapter is filled with preliminaries - events that help set the stage for what’s about to happen during the groundbreaking ceremony.
Chapter 20
34. Soon another limo arrives with all the important officials of Coconut Cove. At ten minutes to noon, Roy and Beatrice arrive. They are startled to see that they are not the only students there. Several of Roy’s history classmates have come, too, along with a bunch of parents.
35. Then, the school van arrives and unloads Beatrice’s soccer teammates who are all carrying signs. Roy looks for signs of the owls, but they’re nowhere in sight. He knows that this is what Mother Paula’s officials are counting on.
Chapter 21
36. Roy learns that Mullet Fingers real name is Napoleon Bridger, a name that totally amazes him. Meanwhile, his mother is cutting out all the articles about the protest to make a scrapbook for her son. They learn as they read the articles that Mullet Fingers had gone home to his parents.
37. Roy’s mother then tells him that his father wants to see him before he goes to school, and because Roy hadn’t seen him the night before, he’s worried that somehow he’s in trouble. His mother reassures him that his dad respects what he did.

10. Two ideas of importance stand out in this chapter: one, Roy is unjustly punished while his attacker is not so that the school can avoid a lawsuit; two, Roy makes contact with a boy he finds too interesting to ignore.
11. In the process, he discovers a world that is much more interesting than anything he’s experienced yet. The reader senses that Roy will not give up until he finds out the truth behind the running boy. Life has become exciting at last.
Chapter 6
12. This chapter serves to advance the plot and Roy’s obsession with the running boy. We see that his instincts about Beatrice and her bus stop are correct and that she does know something about Mullet Fingers.
13. We also are able to add more to our understanding of Roy. He is a proud young man who has had to face many new situations. His maturity won’t allow him to give in to the bullies and he knows he has eventually face Dana.
Chapter 7
14. Once again the reader can see how Delinko is being paralleled to Roy - both are detectives with a sincere desire to learn the truth. However, Delinko does have ulterior motives that Roy does not have. Also, Roy is actually more intelligent than Delinko even though he is the child to Delinko being an adult.
Chapter 8
15. The lifting of the bus suspension foreshadows another showdown for Roy with Dana. However, he is a realist and faces it with a resigned attitude. he doesn’t want to spend the whole school year running and hiding from the bully.
16. The telephone conversation between Curly and the company vice-president is amusing given that the guy who is laying down the law is named Chuck Muckle, and the chastised employee is named Curly and he’s as bald as a cue ball! Also, the names of the Rottweilers are equally as amusing - a vicious attack dog named Pookie Face is a bit unusual! The irony is that the attack dogs will prove to be less than effective.
17. The ospreys are symbolic of Roy himself - like them, he can find a way to thrive in an environment that is far away and different from his beloved Montana.
18. It is ironic that Roy is saved once more from Dana’s wrath, this time by someone he had also feared(Beatrice).
Chapter 9
19. Roy’s review of his options in dealing with Dana shows mature and intelligent introspection. He understands his weaknesses and strengths and his concern for being an only child on his parents is admirable.
20. Then, when he finally is another brawl with Dana, he fights as well as he can against the bigger boy and that makes him admirable as well. He’s a character the reader can’t help but cheer on.
Chapter 10
21. This chapter is the one that creates a bond between the running boy, Beatrice, and Roy. They all help each other in some way or another and it’s obvious that they will soon be working together to save the owls.
Chapter 11
22. Delinko smiles when he sees the owls. He is not at all turned off by them and this will be important at the end of the book. He also now has the bike Beatrice had stolen and a piece of Mullet Fingers’ short.
Chapter 12
23. It’s obvious from this chapter that Roy is now committed even more to protecting Mullet Fingers.
Chapter 13
24. When the Eberhardts arrive home, Roy knows he has to face the “den.” This is a code word for Roy’s father sitting down with him whenever there’s some serious explaining to be done. When he enters the den, he is carrying a book his parents had gotten him for Christmas: The Sibley Guide to Birds.
25. Roy explains that he’s reading about the Burrowing Owl, and then he tells his father everything except about the snakes. He insists that Mullet Fingers is not a bad kid at all. He’s just trying to save the owls.
Chapter 14
26. This chapter is a revelation of Roy as a mediator. He shows his talent for talking and helping even for those who refuse his help. He may not like Dana Matherson, but he’s willing to negotiate a truce with him.
Chapter 15
27. Roy decides that the mission to Mother Paula’s is just too risky: someone or something will be waiting. He also has fears about trying something that is illegal. This is a problem for him, because he feels that just because something is legal doesn’t make it right. He feels like he needs to come up with a plan to protect Mullet Fingers.
Chapter 16
28. This chapter continues to reinforce Roy’s progress in becoming a man of integrity. He recognizes the beauty of the natural world and the value of his parents. He also takes on the responsibility to protect the owls.
Chapter 17
29. The chapter opens with another telephone conversation between Curly and Chuck Muckle. The capture of Dana bodes well for Curly, but it is neutralized by the loss of the bulldozer seats. Muckle tells him he has to lock down the site for just another forty-eight hours and that if anyone asks, the owl burrows are deserted.
30. Roy is committed to helping not only Mullet Fingers, but also the owls.
Chapter 18
31. Curly reports to Officer Delinko about his encounter with Roy, but tells him not to write it up. Delinko doesn’t tell Curly about Dana’s reaction to the rubber alligator, and Curly doesn’t tell Delinko about the bulldozer seats being stolen while Dana was in custody. They both carry secrets, but they are also both glad not to be alone on the construction site.
32. Roy’s plan progresses. He tries to get Mullet Fingers to follow through, but has no luck in convincing him. He avoids the principal’s interference, and he tells his class about the plight of the owls.
Chapter 19
33. This chapter is filled with preliminaries - events that help set the stage for what’s about to happen during the groundbreaking ceremony.
Chapter 20
34. Soon another limo arrives with all the important officials of Coconut Cove. At ten minutes to noon, Roy and Beatrice arrive. They are startled to see that they are not the only students there. Several of Roy’s history classmates have come, too, along with a bunch of parents.
35. Then, the school van arrives and unloads Beatrice’s soccer teammates who are all carrying signs. Roy looks for signs of the owls, but they’re nowhere in sight. He knows that this is what Mother Paula’s officials are counting on.
Chapter 21
36. Roy learns that Mullet Fingers real name is Napoleon Bridger, a name that totally amazes him. Meanwhile, his mother is cutting out all the articles about the protest to make a scrapbook for her son. They learn as they read the articles that Mullet Fingers had gone home to his parents.
37. Roy’s mother then tells him that his father wants to see him before he goes to school, and because Roy hadn’t seen him the night before, he’s worried that somehow he’s in trouble. His mother reassures him that his dad respects what he did.
